In one course of Scientific Symposia, supported by Enseval Medika Prima (EMP) that organized the first session of the Scientific Symposia 3, held on Saturday, April 25th, 2015 with the topic of tacrolimus and kidney transplantation.

At this symposium session featured three speakers, Prof. Dr.dr. Bambang Purwanto, SpPD-KGH, FINASIM (from Faculty of Medicine FK UNS / Dr. Muwardi Hospital), Dr. Dian Ariningrum, SpPK-K (Faculty of Medicine FK UNS / Dr. Muwardi Hospital) and Dr. Irwan Widjaja, M.Biomed (Scientific Support of EMP).

Prof. Dr. dr. Bambang Purwanto, SpPD-KGH expressed about Kidney Transplantation Management, the management of and process a successful kidney organ transplants performed by the team doctors of the Dr Muwardi hospital. He said that, on current Dr. Muwardi Hospital Surakarta became one of the few government hospitals designated by the Ministry of Health, Republic of Indonesia to make the program or project of the National Kidney Transplant.

According to Prof. Dr. Bambang, in addition to treatment should be carefully and integrated many aspects and factors in terms of treatment, care, and support diagnostic laboratories primarily for use some kind of Immunosuppresive Drug or Immunosuppressant drugs, such as Tacrolimus & Monophenolic Acid (MPA) have serve to minimize transplant failure. It’s due to use of tacrolimus, a less than optimal dose (as low dose), and toxicity side effects, due to use of tacrolimus that are too high doses.

Dr. Dian Ariningrum, SpPK-K convey for Post Kidney Transplantation Laboratory Examination, mentioned to relation Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) of class Immunosuppressant drugs, such as Cyclosporine, Tacrolimus, MPA and other corticosteroids needs to be done, in particular to optimize the dose monitoring of the AUC (Area Under the Curve Concentration) and the side effects that may occur.

Dr. Irwan Widjaja, M.Biomed convey the topic of Examination Tacrolimus Profile. Tacrolimus assay monitoring usage, Cyclosporine and Monophenolic mofertil (MMF), can be performed simultaneously and in a short time with CEDIA assay technologies and QMS from Thermo Scientific.

INDIKO, instrumentation and assay CEDIA & QMS is a tool ISD monitoring in a single assay analyzer tool that consolidates all tests ISD automatically within one platform, thus providing an improvement in work processes / workflows and Turn Around Time (TAT) become faster and optimally. '5 ON 1' or One stop shop with CEDIA Cyclosporine C0 and C2 / MPA / and QMS. Everolimus and Tacrolimus. So with instrumentation tools such INDIKO & Assay of Thermo Scientific USA provide benefits position as the Small & Smart ISD for Platform test.

At this symposium activities event supported by full of team LOB Hoslab with Mr. Hilmansyah Ardra (PM of Clinical Chemistry) and team of Application Specialist (Mr. Taufik & Mrs. Sari), It’s also supported by full team of Branch Yogya, Solo and Semarang, such Mrs. Eka Rini W (SM) Mr. Moch Chaerul Anwar (ASM), Mr. Andi Yuniarto, Mr. Faisal (Yogya & Semarang MSS), with participation whole team of EMP PS HOSLAB Yogyakarta, Solo and Semarang.
